Pretty flower
And she really really pretty as can be
So beautiful
And I think she really bloom just for me
I keep her watered
And her petals really smile in the sunshine
Her stem is trim
And I’m really really glad that she’s mine
Imma keep on
Doin’ what it takes
To make her grow
Imma keep on
Doin’ what it takes
I don’t want to let her go
The softest flower
And having her around is good for me
Bloom every season
‘Cause I really really treat her like she need to be
Imma keep on
Doin’ what it takes
To make her grow
Imma keep on
Doin’ what it takes
I don’t want to let her go
Imma keep on
Doin’ what it takes
To make her grow
Imma keep on
Doin’ what it takes
I don’t want to let her go

Very happy a colleague recommended Mdou Moctar to me after I discovered & fell in love with Tinariwen and this new (to me) desert blues sound! Mdou Moctar inject more of a psychedelic sensibility into their music rather than Tinariwen's drone, making it flavorfully distinctive, while still carrying that shining, twanging, sun-drenched sound we all love about Saharan desert rock. Love the grooving rhythms and the alternately snappy clean or drowned-in-effects guitar melodies. Excellent work! pinkytheent
